Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Transformation Project Manager to lead and execute a critical technology migration project. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless transitions for our customers from legacy systems to modern technologies. Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Strategy:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Create risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Customer Migration:
  • Analyse existing systems and data to identify migration requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end migration efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to execute data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Communicate migration progress to customers and manage expectations.

Analytical Preparation:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of legacy systems, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop data migration strategies, considering data quality, security, and scalability.

Change Management:

  • Facilitate change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to address concerns, provide training, and manage expectations.
  • Monitor user feedback and adjust implementation plans as needed.

Project Execution and Monitoring:

  • Oversee project execution, tracking milestones, deliverables, and budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and infrastructure specialists.
  • Regularly report project status to senior management and escalate issues as necessary.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control processes to validate successful migrations.
  • Conduct post-migration assessments to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
  • Address any discrepancies promptly and efficiently.

Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and process flows.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams and customers.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing complex technical projects, preferably involving system migrations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools
