WAN: How to choose an MPLS provider

Introduction

The best MPLS provider is not always clear-cut, since everyone's needs are different.  It is generally helpful to start with a long-list of providers and apply some comparison questions to focus down to the ones that suit you best.

People often assume they need an MPLS network, but then decide that a hybrid network would be best.   If that's the case then you will need a slightly different long-list.  This is because a major hybrid network benefit comes using multiple carriers and it is unlikely that a carrier will want to offer competitor circuits!

In that case you may be better off using a Managed Service Provider.  If you need help choosing an MPLS or Hybrid supplier, we would be delighted to have a quick informal chat to share what we've seen businesses do before.  Just drop us a line here
