Technology Partners

An average SAS solution blends at least 10 different vendor products or services. We provide the Professional and Managed Services wrap across that blend. Our solutions include the normal respected suspects such as Microsoft, HP and Symantec. However, in many cases (such as BT, Colt, Verizon and Vodafone) they are not only our partners, but our customers also. This demonstrates the high regard that some of the biggest technology brands have for SAS’s track record & ability.

SAS’s blending of vendors and technology reflects our commitment to provide impartial advice and engineer the best solutions for our customers. Unlike some Service Providers we have deliberately not built our own network, or our own data centres, or our own application platforms. We feel this restricts customer flexibility. By choice we partner with technology leaders and channel our considerable investment into the monitoring & management systems that run across all vendors (network, application or infrastructure) to pull back useful intelligence and performance data.

BT Wholesale

BT Wholesale’s industry-leading BT 21CN network is an important connectivity option within our hybrid managed network services.

BT Wholesale helps us to deliver cost-effective services, because Ethernet WANs can be materially cheaper than traditional mpls networks.  BT Wholesale offers extensive coverage with multiple connectivity options: from Next-Generation Fibre (GEA), Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM), and dedicated fibre from bandwidths of 10Mbit/s to 10Gbit.  With BT Wholesale we can offer fast circuit delivery and fast change control - eg sometimes in as little as 30 minutes to flex bandwidth on circuits.

We've worked hard to create a complete digital supply chain, in which we integrate with supplier systems for pricing, ordering, support and billing. With BT Wholesale as part of this digital supply chain, we can offer clients a more agile Ethernet service and deliver it to them faster and cheaper with fewer errors.
