SAS wins BT Business Partner award for fifth consecutive year

London – SAS Global Communications, an international provider of Managed and Professional Network Services, has been named BT ICT Partner of the Year. This is the fifth successive year that SAS has won a BT Partner of the Year award. The award, announced at BT Tower on the 11th of May at BT’s Annual Partner Conference in London, is given in recognition of SAS’s commitment to consistently delivering high-volume, high-quality orders through the BT Business Indirect Partner Sales (BT IPS) channel - as well as delivering significant strategic projects for BT Business and its customers.

Martin Clarke, General Manager of BT Business Partner Sales stated, “It gave me great pleasure to present an award for the 5th consecutive year to SAS Global Communications. It was important to recognise the tenacious and proactive customer focus Charles Davis drives through his business and coupled with a strong sales year I was delighted to announce SAS as our 2014/15 ICT Partner of the Year. I believe that our two companies, in partnership, can have a great future.”

Collecting the award on behalf of SAS, Charles Davis, CEO of SAS Global Communications said, “It’s a real honour to receive a BT Partner of the Year award for the 5th year in a row. Our commitment to delivering service excellence to our customers is unwavering but this award is a testament to our achievements. Furthermore, our performance has not been static, it has increased year-on-year. This year alone, we delivered over £36m in new business contracts. This is a 20% increase over 2014. SAS and BT Business are now seeing the benefit of working very closely together in 2015 to deliver a run rate of a new WAN customer every week. This shows the benefit of coupling BT’s products and services with SAS’s highly innovative and market leading managed service solutions. It is a very exciting time to be operating and winning business in a highly competitive carrier market.”
