SAS to deploy new global SD WAN

We're delighted to announce that we've signed contracts with an International investment company to deploy a new SD WAN covering 18 cities across the globe.

The new solution will assist with their journey to cloud by delivering a consistent, secure and resilient experience for their users anywhere in the world.

The solution is based on a fully managed Meraki network comprising SD-WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi 6 access points and Cisco Security platform, deployed and supported in-life by our management services teams.

Using a Meraki SD-WAN and Cisco Security infrastructure with resilient network connections, we shall be upgrading and transforming our customer's network estate with resilient 1GB connectivity at all sites.

The integrated networking solution combines our global SIP platform to support the company’s adoption of Zoom and MS Teams and facilitating their drive to a fully cloud-based infrastructure for Applications, Voice, Video and collaboration.

We shall also be upgrading the LAN and Wi-Fi 6 Wireless LAN at every office, which will all be managed and underwritten by our award-winning 24x7 network operations centre.

“We are all really eager for SAS to get the new WAN infrastructure delivered and installed as quickly as possible so we can start delivering the many benefits it will bring to our business as people start returning to their offices,” says the customer's Head of IT Management.

“We are delighted to be supporting such an important customer with their journey to the cloud.  This contract award reflects the successful and long-term partnership that we have built between our two companies and we very much look forward to continuing to work together,” says Mike Stichbury, SAS.
