SAS innovation beats off stiff competition at CNA 2015 Awards

London - SAS Global Communications today announced that it has won the O2 sponsored Best SME Mobile Data Solution award at the CNA 2015 awards.

The prestigious awards recognise businesses who connect the nation, and SAS’s win demonstrates the market gap being fulfilled by their ultra-rapid delivery of ethernet-speed connectivity to fixed sites, vehicles and boats using a carrier agnostic, multi-sim mobile 3G/4G data solution.

SAS, an international provider of managed and professional services that designs and manages bespoke IP communications networks for more than 250 customers worldwide, was chosen by an independent judging panel and votes from fellow industry professionals.

Its managed hybrid IP VPN service can now help organisations who require rapid site deployment, or connectivity to temporary, seasonal, vehicular or marine sites around the world. It also helps them adopt the benefits of M2M and IOT.

“The Comms National Awards is the UK’s most prestigious and well respected awards process and this year garnered a record entry of over 150 submissions”, commented Nigel Sergent, Comms National Awards Coordinator. “As the awards are independently and fairly judged by a team of industry experts, a Comms National Award is highly prized. Winning organisations should be justifiably proud of their achievement as it demonstrates an ability to deliver a quality service which has been recognised as second to none. SAS's solution entered in the Best SME Mobile Data Solution category impressed the judges due to its simplicity and ease of implementation . SAS's ability to meet the demand for rapid deployment of mobile broadband connectivity in temporary or remote locations within 48 hours was a winning factor."

“Most carriers offer low bandwidth single carrier, single SIM solutions within 28 days. SAS offers ethernet-speed connectivity within days, with our international multi SIM and multi carrier bonded VPN solution,” commented SAS CEO, Charles Davis.

“Our purpose is to make our customers more successful by keeping their businesses agile and responsive, and this award reinforces the development efforts of our multidisciplinary team to do this for our carrier, system integrator and outsourcer clients.

SAS has made significant investments over 18 months to deliver hybrid networking alongside our fixed line managed network services. Our success is reflected in significant projects with customers and partners that help differentiate their service portfolio and remove the burden of managing late circuit delivery. ”

The awards ceremony took place at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden on Thursday 22nd October. More information on the evening can be found at www.cnawards.com.
