London - SAS Global Communications, an international provider of managed network and professional services, has been named BT Overall Partner of the Year and BT ICT Partner of the Year 2012, for the second year in succession. BT announced the winners on Thursday May 17 during its annual awards ceremony at BT Tower in London.
The awards recognise SAS's sales and service achievements through the BT Indirect Partner Sales (BT IPS) channel which, in financial year 2011-12, included the delivery of over £40 million in revenue from BT networking products.
Martin Clarke, General Manager, BT Indirect Partner Sales said: "11/12 was a fantastic year for SAS, working with BT Indirect Partner Sales. SAS demonstrated a sustained and successful approach to driving new ICT business throughout the year. It was an absolute pleasure for BT to present SAS with both awards and this is proof that partner led BT solution sales can and do win significant new business in all markets and against all competitors. Continued investment in aligned resource demonstrates true commitment to the IPS channel model and bodes well for continued success for both SAS and BT. I look forward to working with SAS in 12/13."
“It is a real boost to accept these awards for the second year running,” said Charles Davis, CEO for SAS Global Communications. “Maintaining a high level of collaboration with BT has become a proven recipe for successful service management delivery at SAS and this, combined with BT’s powerful networking technology, gives us the tools to create world class voice and data solutions for our clients. It is a great accolade for everyone at SAS to see that our professional and managed services can achieve such significant recognition.”
SAS independently provides a range of bespoke managed services and professional networking solutions to end-user organisations through the BT Indirect Partner Sales channel.
