London – SAS Global Communications, an international provider of managed and professional network services, has been awarded a 1 Star accreditation in The Sunday Times’ Best Companies survey for the third successive year. SAS was one of 185 organisations to achieve 1 Star status in the 2013 competition, which was entered by nearly 900 organisations.
The Best Companies’ award is a measurement of the overall level of engagement employees have with their employer and tells the organisation how happy, positive and enthusiastic employees are generally about working for the company.
“The last 12 months have been quite tough for our employees,” said Charles Davis, CEO for SAS Global Communications. “A challenging economic climate means it’s been difficult to achieve revenue goals without placing increased demand on employees. It’s therefore vital to gain an independent assessment of the impact this has on staff engagement with the company.”
“We’re delighted to have maintained our position as a 1 Star organisation in 2103 but we recognise we must continue to invest in the careers and welfare of our employees as well as staying aligned with their personal and professional goals in order to improve our position in the future.”
