SAS achieves 4th place in Sussex Super Growth Awards 2017

SAS Global Communications achieved 4th place in the 2017 Sussex Super Growth Awards. The finalists were announced on Tuesday 7th March 2017, at the American Express Community Stadium. This is SAS’ best result yet, having made the shortlist for the third year in a row!

Sussex Super Growth is the first attempt to produce a definitive index of the top 60 Sussex-based companies who have demonstrated significant growth over the last 3 years. The initiative aims to shine a light on the unsung heroes of the UK economy. The awards are the result of a partnership between asb law, Kreston Reeves accountants and Lloyds Commercial Banking with The Argus as media partner.

Nicholas Cothill, SAS COO, went to the ceremony to receive the award and commented:

“This is the third year in a row that SAS has been listed within the Sussex Super Growth awards. I’m extremely proud to accept this award on behalf of all the people who work for SAS and make it the great company it is. Our strategy is to assist customers with the challenges of digital transformation through an agile and innovative service model.

This award further cements that our strategy is working and our customers are benefiting from hybrid networking and in-depth performance monitoring that covers the application, infrastructure and the network in order to stay ahead of their competition.”

Also commenting on the awards, Graham Hunt, partner at Kreston Reeves LLP, explained: “Sussex Super Growth is all about celebrating the most successful wealth-generating, job-creating businesses across the region. We are delighted to advise that, on the basis of information filed at Companies House, SAS Global Communications Limited is a shortlisted awards finalist and one of the 60 fastest growing companies in Sussex over the past 3 years”.

Charles Davis, SAS CEO offered these thoughts in response to SAS being a finalist for the 3rd year in a row: “It’s fantastic news that SAS has again been recognised by Sussex Super Growth and SAS achieved 4th place this year against a very demanding and uncertain economic landscape. The challenge of digital transformation for UK businesses continues to increase, and they are putting more onus on their supply chain to deliver an improved service for less year on year. There is a growing demand for an innovative and proactive managed service partner that can encompass application, infrastructure and network continues to prove to be highly relevant.

Our growth shows that our strategy is working and that innovations such as next generation monitoring (NGM) and hybrid 4G networking, coupled with in-depth application, infrastructure and networking performance - through monitoring the entire application path - are genuinely helping customers be more agile and competitive.”
