The SAS Group has robust Managed Communications services providing all levels of network support and administration for WAN and LAN, Internet circuits, private circuits, wireless networks, mobile and local services. Our managed services teams can cover all voice and data requirements in an infrastructure with equipment and services for any scale enterprise management system. Managed Network services provided by the SAS Group, include IP-based infrastructure design as well as Managed Services for unified network solutions and communications platforms.

The SAS Group has trained specialists in Managed Communications. The integrated knowledge that the SAS Group has in the interdisciplinary areas of voice and video technology, data networks and telecommunications platforms is solid and reliable. Our experience in Managed Services is our legacy and the path towards the future in communications is lead by our Managed Communications services portfolio.

Our Managed Communications services feature SAS Discovery and Documentation which can provide clients with an inventory of each and every one of the communications components in their infrastructure. Following mergers and acquisitions, newly acquired communications infrastructures can also be monitored through the SAS Group’s managed networks service. Schematic aggregation with listing of all circuitry, including precise details of function and utilization levels, user access and administrative rights, can all be consolidated to the client’s requirements.

The SAS Group’s Managed Communications details the network’s performance status by conducting audits of bandwidth utilization, quality of service (QoS), security status and network configuration. The all important documentation, support details and logs within the network and application schematic are compiled and maintained. Our Managed Network services cover LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs and MANs, and all associated devices are supported by a Managed Services agreement.

As part of our Managed Services and Managed Network enterprise support, the SAS Group offers technical design authority (TDA). This is a service that enables clients to scope and construct the ideal converged network to support their business requirements.. Our Managed Services Specialists will work with the client to review, account for and select the best carriers and vendors to deliver their Managed Network. A comprehensive TDA audit will discover any interdependencies that exist between legacy equipment and the proposed new network infrastructure. The SAS Group’s technicians will submit their assessments and technical recommendations for the interfaces, routing protocols and network configurations required for the final solution.

With the SAS Group’s Managed Network monitoring tools, measurements such as mean opinion score testing (MOS), a numeric assessment of the quality of speech, can be managed on a 24/7 basis. All devices along the voice path will be monitored for both traffic and priority levels across the entire network. The monitoring is provided by the SAS Group’s network operations centre (NOC) located in the UK. The SAS Group has the client’s full network service needs covered.
