Nigel Adams joins SAS to facilitate growth of the company’s managed service business

London - The SAS Group, an international provider of IP-based network and managed communication services has announced the appointment of Nigel Adams to the role of service desk manager. Nigel will report to Keith Darling, head of network operations for the managed services specialist. 

With more than 15 years in the industry, Nigel joins the SAS Group from Fixnetix, where he held the position of service delivery manager. Prior to that assignment, Nigel spent 14 years with Thomson Reuters, most recently in the role of global operations service manager. He also served in the Royal Navy for 12 years, where he was one of a select group of engineers responsible for bringing the Trident computer navigation system to the UK. 

Charles Davis, CEO for the SAS Group, said, "We are delighted to have Nigel on-board as a member of our managed services support team. We believe that his experience will be a tremendous asset to our organisation and will also be a key enabler for the continued success of our managed communications and infrastructure design business." 

Nigel will head up a team of engineers based at the SAS Group’s Horsham network operations centre (NOC) near London in the South East.
