Project description
- Implementation of network audit to identify protocol utilisation and IP requirements
- Design of new Cisco based infrastructure including Internet security, remote access and failover systems
- Management of Cisco approval of infrastructure design
- Design of migration path from BinTec routers to Cisco systems
- Definition of acceptance criteria for Internet security and remote access systems, including failover, performance, authentication, fault tolerance, traffic utilisation
- Soak testing of systems prior to handover to trial user group
- Installation and configuration of new Cisco Internet security and remote access solution, and integration with legacy systems
- Migration of all applications and users to new Cisco security infrastructure
- Documentation of all new systems and definition of change control procedures for hardware configurations
- Administration training for new systems management and home-office installations
- Hardware and software support, including Cisco IOS configuration management and upgrade compatibility testing
- Ongoing monthly service reviews focusing on availability, throughput and utilisation, firmware upgrades for latest protection, and regular security penetration testing
