To provide an outsourced service for managing support and proactively monitoring availability of the company's HP ProLiant server infrastructure
Project description
- Data collection of all HP ProLiant server hardware and HP peripherals, including serial numbers, hardware configurations, IP addresses, and firmware levels
- Definition of standard HP firmware configuration and installation of HP Insight manager software
- Definition of standard HP Insight Manager configuration and monitoring levels
- Installation of standard HP Insight manager software on each server and connectivity to SQL server for central data collection
- Coordination of HP CarePack registration for all HP hardware
- Configuration of secure VPN tunnels to enable remote access to each server for proactive monitoring
- Configuration of alert thresholds and connectivity to SAS
- Implementation of reporting structure as well as incident management procedures, including hardware replacement
- Implementation of monthly systems availability and incident reporting
- Provision of web based client access to real time monitoring systems
