Project requirements
Design new secure, fixed-cost WAN, based on DSL VPN technology for 29 remote offices and 10 home users:
- Re-using existing ISDN investment to provide a disaster recovery solution for new WAN
- Providing delivery services to coincide with the implementation of a new warehouse management application to enable low-cost real-time inventory management
Project description
- Provision and installation of new PSTN lines as DSL bearers
- Provision and installation of BT IP Stream DSL VPN solution for remote office and home workers
- Data collection of existing WAN information, IP scheme, application usage, current router configurations, firewall configurations and remote access systems
- Project management of delivery and installation for new BT WAN and Internet services, including site management and coordination
- Installation of migration routers to enable soak testing of new WAN and facilitate seamless migration from old ISDN WAN on an office by office basis
- Integration of remote LAN systems to new WAN to ensure application performance
- Security penetration testing to assess Internet security
- Remote monitoring of all WAN and LAN systems for performance and availability
- Cisco IOS and Radius authentication software support
- 24 hour hardware replacement support
- Ongoing monthly service reviews focusing on availability, throughput and utilisation, firmware upgrades for latest protection
