Comment on financial
results
2006 has been
an extremely successful
year for the SAS Group
and a year in which
we have made significant
improvements to our
support services. Net
income dropped slightly
as a result of our
decision to invest
in 24/7 support; previously
the service desk was
only available 12 hours
a day. However we are
now breaking even with
the service and by
having this superior
level of support we
are not only able to
offer a differentiated
service to our customers,
we are also a lot more
competitive and winning
more new business.
We were also delighted
to report our highest
fourth quarter revenues
in six years and a
35 percent revenue
growth over 2005. Our
continued focus on
converged services,
plus our investment
in technical development
and support services
has enabled us to attract
more high margin business
and to grow our annuity
revenues. These now
account for 50 percent
of our turnover and
we aim to maintain
and grow this figure
over the next 12 months.
